The Barred Owl is hand painted fired glass enamels on the top and middle layer of the three layer glass. This included multiple kiln firings before a final full fuse of all three layers. The background glass is called petrified wood by Bullseye and 'strike's in a range of fluid colors when kiln fired adding to the depth and nature background for the painting.
The piece measures 7" W x 8" H x 3/8" thick and comes with an iron stand as shown above. Padding is added to the back stand prongs for a snug and secure fit.
