Margot Clark's Deluxe MUD kit is everything you need to start mudding in fused glass or on just about any surface. It may be fired in fused glass and depending on the firing temperature can leave some texture - the hotter you go the more level with the glass and glossier it becomes.
I use this in fused glass pieces, making greeting cards in combination with colored pencil, to add dimensional elements to scratchboard pieces and more. It air dries and bonds to most surfaces that will not be in contact with water.
