The class will meet via ZOOM weekly for 5 weeks beginning Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 at 6:00pm CST. Weekly meetings will run until approximately 7:30pm and the last meeting on Wednesday March 30th.

Drawing with Colored Pencils Course is scheduled for March 2nd - 30th 2022. This will be a five-week course with a focus on colored pencil techniques and identifying, using, blending, and choosing colors. Entirely different use of your observation skills! But reliant on what you have learned so far!
This course will not be made public and is only available to students who have taken one or more of the three drawing courses.
In this course, the subject matter will be outlined for exercises each week, but you will research or take your own photos for that week's topic, and the final project option is your choice.
Deadlines will be set each week for exercises. It is important that you set aside time to finish these so everyone has the advantage of reviewing the feedback of one another. It is how we all learn different approaches.
There are no refunds or transfer of registration once your commitment has been made through the payment process.
Students will have the ability to record the weekly meetings on their computers for their personal use. These recordings may not be shared, copied and redistributed, or posted to social media. By registering for this course you are agreeing to these terms. It is recommended that the ZOOM computer app is downloaded for full function of all features. A webcam is required for all registrants. If you do not have one, there are many USB options available.
The important thing to remember is that this is a journey you have chosen to undertake that will require not only practice, but some discipline and positive thinking! Rome wasn’t built in a day; I did not achieve my skill level overnight! It boils down simply to your desire to learn, and your willingness to practice and allow yourself the time for discovery! Each of the assignments in the course are planned to help you slowly build your skill level, increase your observation skills, and most importantly your confidence.
Students must make a commitment to the time and dates scheduled. There will be no make-up time or private consultations.
Registrants will be sent the invitation to the weekly meetings with the link and password. It is your responsibility to save these emails with the information!
