This summer landscape is hand painted on two glass layers and required multiple kiln firings before a final full fusing of the glass. Landscapes are one of my favorite painting subjects and this piece begins with a technique I developed in 2017 and layers on multiple other applications including dimensional textured elements in the foreground tree. The scene represents a combination of many places I have been and lived based on a lifetime of memories.
The glass measures 6" x 8". The custom stand of maple wood and raw steel the overall size is 7.5"W x 13"T x 4.5"D.
This artwork ships in two boxes: the glass separately from the stand to prevent potential damage. Item ships USPS Priority Mail with signature required.
