This fall lake landscape is hand painted on two glass layers and required multiple kiln firings before a final full fusing of the glass. Landscapes are one of my favorite painting subjects and this piece begins with a technique I developed in 2017 and layers on multiple other applications. The scene represents a combination of many places I have been and lived based on a lifetime of memories.
The glass measures 8" x 6". The custom stand of cedar wood and raw steel the overall size is 9"W x 11"T x 4.5"D.
