The Hydrangea Bloom II paperweight measures 2.5" x 2.5" x 1". The glass is hand painted with fired glass enamels and is a total of nine layers of 3mm glass with a [painted background glass, gradient blue petals, and green leaves. Each painted layer casts shadows on the layer below creating the illusion of dimension in the flower. Three kiln firings and a final polishing of the sides to completion.
