November 29th, December 6th, and December 13th on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30PM CST

Requirements:
Registrants should have a color printer, scanner, CC Photoshop, or the latest version of the desktop Photoshop from CS6. Photoshop Elements does not have all the functions or features that will be demonstrated in this class.
Photoshop is a tool you will find extremely useful when planning and creating your designs, or, for editing photo reference images for your art and art project planning. You will find this one of your greatest investments as a creative.

In this 3-week virtual class you will learn core features to use for creating and planning your art. In the ZOOM meetings I will walk you through and demonstrate how I use Photoshop to my advantage as an artist and fused glass painter via screen-share as you see each of the steps. I will demonstrate how to edit and scale fused glass project design guides you have from my books, tutorials, or club projects.
Registrants will be given permission to record the class meetings on their computers for personal use and to refer to.
Demonstrations will include:
Setting your personal preferences and tools in Photoshop.
Navigating the tools and basic functions of Photoshop.
Creating a document.
Saving a PSD document.
Saving your file as images.
Importing and placing images.
Cropping and editing images.
Working with color adjustments.
Working with transparencies.
Working with shapes.
Creating design patterns for fused glass painting.
Editing and scaling designs to suit your project size or planned mold use.
Working larger than 8.5” x 11” page sizes for printing.
Working with fonts and text in your designs for pen work.
Working in layers.
Working with Clipping Masks
Printing your documents and files.
