Glass Display Stand Demonstration and Template

This is a free tutorial, please read and review the materials. It is straightforward and requires some placement accuracy and changes for specific thicknesses of glass. Please do not email or private message me - this is available free to over 23,000 glass fusers and I am not able to respond one on one with questions. Use this information as a guide, adapt as necessary and test in your kiln. Thank you!

These simple glass display stands are fairly simple to create and can help use up a lot of scrap or strips of glass you have accumulated. I like using transparent glass to make my stands so the focus is on my fused glass enamel art or I can choose a glass color that is common with my artwork to be cohesive and not distract from the overall display.

Using Miracle Mesh from Milkweed Arts the reusable forms can be made individually, or in a long strip to drape up to four stands in one firing. My firing schedules are included in the PDF file and this template may be printed out on your inkjet printer on Bullseye thin fire paper to ensure a perfect set up in your kiln. An accurate 'A' 0r tee pee frame fold is necessary or its not going to work for you!

I do stress my firing schedule in the video as these are tested for my kiln. You may need to make adjustments by testing depending on your knowledge of your kiln and knowledge whether it runs hot or not! The provided schedules are what work for me in my JenKen Profusion 16 fiber kiln.
