The Unique Glass Colors 'D' Series of colors contain cadmium and may also contain lead.
These three colors may ONLY be mixed with one another and NOT with the NT (non-toxic) series of enamels.
Even coverage is required to provide the truest mature color. If applied thinly the color may not fire as rich. When I fired these colors I vent my kiln by propping the lid to 850 degrees in the ramping up then close it for the remainder of the firing. This allows oxygen to help burn off the binders and mature the colors to fire to full saturation.
