The blue monochromatic landscapes is created by first custom mixing four different values of blue enamels. Each of the four 2mm glass panels is has painted and then kiln fired before pairing off the layers to fuse them together. Then, both fused panels are kiln fired to fully bond and fuse the four glass layers. Finally, the fired glass is kiln fired one more time to gently and slowly soften the glass on an S curve mold. The background glass is semi-translucent allowing light to travel through the layers and provide a soft glow.
