Fused glass mosaic landscape is 7" x 9" with included black easel for display.
The piece is done by using three reactive glass colors. With the chemical makeup of these glass colors; Petrified Wood, Robin's Egg Blue, and French Vanilla. Where these glass colors make contact or overlap one another a reaction takes place in the glass creating halo's and color shifts. After arranging the more than 1200 glass pieces with tweezers and temporary adhesive for the design, the areas between each shape is filled with French Vanilla powdered frit (glass). The glass is then kiln fired to 1450 degrees.
