The Heart Plate is done using a quill pen and fired glass product to hand draw the lace pattern on the glass before firing. This piece measures 7" x 6" and slumped with a round well shape in the center for candles, decorative hand soap, or a simple trinket dish. Handmade millefiori and yellow blossoms are fused to the glass in a second firing before a final slump firing in the mold.
