The butterfly motif in this stand up S Curve art display is done using fired glass products to draw the lines in white. The segments in the design are then filled with transparent powdered frit (powdered glass) to provide a glow with the light traveling between the two glass layers. It is kiln fired to full fuse the layers of glass followed by an additional kiln firing to slowly drape the glass in the S Curve shape.
